On-going maintenance or lack of it

I really didn't want to vent anymore but seriously...it's been 5 months since we had the maintenance inspection done and we still have outstanding items.
Ok, so we've been living with the defects and things were coming along sloooooowly BUT
I just called Eden Brae today and apparently all our items had been DONE according to their books????

I think EB need to rethink their procedures.....

No-one has come out to check that everything has been completed.

We've not signed anything to say things were done so how do they check????

Do they just wait for people to call up and say hey this hasn't been fixed????

We sent an email three weeks ago to say hey what are you doing. No response.

This is no longer acceptable. They just seem to wait and wait until people have no patience left.

No idea?? or don't care????

Hi there, I know exactly how you feel. We have had the same problem now & we are over 12 months in the house. The final Tyrells' report was done after we had moved in & had pages of outstanding work to be completed. We figure the quality of work carried out wasn't worth having them back in the end! Certainly will not build with them again!

Yes, I agree totally anonymous about the poor quality of work. I would never recommend them either. The directors obviously don't care anymore about their reputation, since they are still getting gullible customers - like us!!!!

wow, didn't know eden brae is that bad with maintenance. Send them the link to your blog and keep talking about it everyday, and publish it in every forum you are in. Sooner or later your blog will be top in any search regarding their company, and see if they care about that or not...
